About Our School

David K. Sellars Elementary School

David K. Sellars Elementary, established in 1967, proudly serves the Forest Hill community. Located within the city of Forest Hill, Texas, we are one of only two Fort Worth ISD schools in this vibrant community.

Named in honor of the first principal, David K. Sellars, the school has a long-standing tradition of excellence in education. Our school spirit is embodied by our mascot, the Mustang, and our colors, royal blue and white, symbolize the pride we take in our school.

With a current enrollment of over 420 students, David K. Sellars Elementary is an "A-rated" school, recognized for our commitment to academic excellence and student achievement. We strive to provide a nurturing and challenging environment where every student can thrive and "sail to a sea of success."
